Scarface Arrested at BET Awards show

Hip-Hop legend Scarface was reportedly arrested backstage at the taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards on Friday (Oct 9). The incident happened just when he had exited the stage, moments after receiving the “I Am Hip Hop” award, the show’s most prestigious honor.

According to eyewitnesses, he was heading back to the celebrity trailers only to find 10 sheriff deputies waiting to arrest him. Face reportedly owes child support and was forbidden from leaving the state of Texas due to a warrant.

This wouldn’t be the first time Scarface has been in trouble with the law due to child support issues. Back in 2010, he spent a few months in jail for owing more than $100,000 in back payments.
