If your concepts are going over people's heads it's not because you're the greatest thing to ever grace the site w/ your presence, it's because you're not presenting them properly.
Yeah, you can have a hella complex bar but if its too vague for your ideas to make an impact on the reader then the complexities more of a detriment than it is an advantage...
