Summary

Erupt joined the site in December 2009 and built a reputation for being solid in every category text, audios, topicals, tracks etc. However here we're recognizing his legacy in the text arena which is commendable. Erupt has been a regular figurehead in some of the best crews to grace the site however his most memorable run will be as part of Legion of Doom in which the crew snatched up seemingly every title that was available in an epic three year run.

After some time people began to compare Erupt to Huey Jazz and he gained the moniker "Your Favourite Textcee's Favourite Textcee". This was largely due to his constant mentions by respected battlers such as Illokwent and fellow HOFer RULE in their top 5.

Site Impact

Erupt will certainly be remembered for his position in some of the most dominant crews in site history. Beyond that Erupt has been in 5 tournament finals (3 Grand Championships, 2 text and 1 audio). He also ran Rupt's Rap School in which he taught beginners how to text properly.

Erupt is often credited with having pioneered the use of relevant set-ups in a bar in an era of irrelevant build ups.
