You can start off with two major divisions: flow and complexity. Start off with flow and include 1) rhyming with compound syllables (multies), 2)syllable count/placement 3) using a flow diagram, and any other exercises or techniques you can think of that aids flow.
In the second part of complexity, you can deal with categorizing and using the different types of punchlines (metaphorical, wordplay, you couldn't____if you____, etc), the set-up/punchline process, linking concepts, and an other techniques you can think of that increases complexity.
After that, you can add a third major division that deals with other aspects of being an emcee besides flow and complexity.

How to get confident on the Mic and delivery..As for writing, punchlines and wordplay. I'm not good at these I would like you making videos about these.

Word I was gonna say Imagery too.

And to be honest without the Vocab then how they gonna work on 1,4 and 6? ..

Ain't no basic as fuck Vocab gonna be useful when tryna be creative.

Well what is your perspective of good vocabulary?

I ain't saying dudes gotta involve some mad scientific, Grade-A vocabulary.. But it helps alot, in my opinion.

Dono is a good example of having good vocabulary.. And I enjoy read his topicals.

Lol I ain't saying people should do Canibus.. Type up their bars on Microsoft Word and for every second word, right click and find a synonym.. But just have a wide variety of words that could be used.

Like ..

Dave was scared of battling,
He was so scared his bones were rattling..

That's mad basic - some shit an Amateur would say.

Or..

Dave was terrified of confrontation,
Fear consumed him & left his interior rumbling, shaking.

Ok not a very good example.. But it just sounds alot better.
And don't forget, once people read a REALLY basic verse.. Your basically put off for life lol... Nobody wants to read your shit again.. But if there's signs of some sort of Educated Vocabulary, then it has a bigger affect on the reader.

I think what soup is trying to get at is concise, descriptive, and captivating word choice, not necessarily complexity in terms of obscurity of the words.

I used to feel the way about D.A. 's shit back when. A lot of the time, he came off with simple looking verses, but I always appreciated the thought he put into his wordplay and punches.

I always felt he was one of those victims of "verse isn't pretty looking, so Imma vote for the other guy" effect a lot of the time.
