I think it's pretty funny that Trump was essentially elected on the back of the "anti political image" bandwagon only to get into office & run for office while lying through his teeth. JUST like the political image he's supposedly transcending.

He and members of his team had denied having pre-election contact with Russian officials, and that has been found to be false. My gut tells me they did cross some lines between stating policy objectives that could be seen as favorable to Russia and actually promising Russian officials these changes pre-election.
