Exactly what @ Crysis said.
@ FREEK, I agree with your last post. I don't think Fiji's paying to battle anyone but what Pugz means with the paying to perform is the ADDITIONAL stuff, perhaps due to time constraints or something like that. If it's like $10 I'm sure a few people will get in the mood and spit but if it's like $50 I doubt anyone will be interested.

Still interested in whether the same expectation was held for the handpicked performers? Why advertise in the event banner thread that we had til Sept 1 to contact Mic-Check to perform (with no mention of a fee)?

Advertisement is key to a successful event fellas. Print flyers, Tell friends, family, local artists etc. You dont want just the LB heads there or it is going to be a very dissapointing event. Draw in a crowd, Dont bust heads on prices. After people come and get hooked, THEN you can hittem with the pricing you want because they will pay it because they know what they are going to. Not telling you how to run things, Just giving some advice from previous experiences. Wish I could make it out there myself. My job isn't flexible or I would be there. Good Luck guys.

The best way to get this poppin' would've been to contact another battle league. LB vs.. (insert battle league here.) THAT would've drawn the crowds, especially from their following. That would've lead to people signing up here if we impressed. Just my thoughts though.

This is actually a really great idea. Exposing the sites talents to other leagues. Who knows, they might find there way up to the more respectable leagues in the coming future.
