I made a thread called Idea to Move LetsBeef Forward

The idea was that if you donate to the site, ads disappear for you. Or to make the site ad-free for anyone that buys Exclusive

X commented on the thread and said he plans on making it so that ads are removed for exclusive users.

Yall needa stop bitchin about ads. A site like this isn't free..The domain (letsbeef.com) costs money... The storage/bandwidth costs money... The site itself is a money pit. You know any other rap site as advanced looking as this? This all costs money to make. The battling system..My Emcee sprites...The navigation bar... You need to pay someone familiar with certain computer languages good money to create a site like this & ya'll wanna be ungrateful

Ticket, are you even paying for exclusive? Probably not, and a lot of people aren't. Including me. Point proven. Sites have costs, and when a site becomes a money pit for the owners they need to create ways to generate revenue. Whether you like it or not, these ads are helping to pay for LetsBeef & making it so that you can post threads and bitch about ads. lol

What they need to do is something I suggested several times starting 2 years ago....And that's give the site a facelift. Keep the same look as far as navigation goes.. But change the color scheme, upgrade the vBulletin to a more modern one, with mods like a subscription page (for paid membership), a different kind of awards system (these awards are tasteless).... Appearance has a lot to do with likeability of a website and also the revenue.

Look @ any bar or restaurant. You might have some in your area that have gone to shit, or were losing custys. Then they remodel and renovate and it brings new life to the bar/restaurant.

Same concept here. I remember back in '05-'06 ...the old Letsbeef looked like SHIT & at the time this version was blowing the old one out of the water. I'm sure they had plenty of people willing to pay for exclusive. In fact, I remember there being less exclusive members and talking to exclusive members that told me they were paying for this.

Of course the face-lift and overhaul this site needs might have a steep cost.. But if you give the people what they wanted like you did from '05'-'06 with the rebirth, you can definitely expect more paid memberships, therefore making your money back.
