CREW MIXTAPE COMPETETION

There is so many tourneys and mini competitions with topicals, 1 bar, joke bar, text, cypher, acapella etc etc...I think being that the end goal of any hip hop artist is to make good songs, and the purpose of a crew is to assosiate with like minded artists to work with and ultimatley further that goal. That it would make since to have a contest where each crew submits 5-7 tracks of finished material, either done by individual crew members or collaborations with each other. We agree on a group of veteran moderators, or even outside judges that would be unbiased and opinions would hold weight..i.e dj's , a&r's or semi pro artists, to judge which 2 crews put together the best songs. Then we hold a live event on tiny chat where say 5 members of each go face to face, or the 2 crews make a track representing lets beef as a whole and the winners track becomes the lets beef theme song or something. I just think as a community something like this with participation from all would bring us together. I was on tiny chat and the "in crowd elite kids" really don't think highly of lets beef. So maybe if we engage more as crews, and promote collaborations and promotion of actual music, if we start using each other as resources for beats, (there are great producers on here) There are people willing to mix music for free, there are people that can do album graphics, there are video editors, and social media promoters. I mean this site would be and could be so much more if we stopped hating on each other in chat rooms, and doing obscure competitions of text rap. Lets help each other do something tangible. The people that only like to text..well ghostwriting is a very lucrative trade. In short let's do something like this to get the ball rolling on identifying, the who writes, who makes beats, who raps, who mixes, who sings, who manages, who promotes, who does art etc etc. Once we band together we can build on it, and create a network where artists can maximize there potential.
