shouldve made it 60 sec. imo. that way the whole tourney would move in a quicker and easier fashion.. some of the prior GCs were 60.. that way its not as hard on the participants..cause 32's each round is def a challenge to do especially if everyones got life shit to do... other than that good shit to everyone that dropped so far.. this tourney lookin dope @Prince of Dubai

nah 2 min verses are way more entertaining without a doubt and make it worth calling the shit a GC. 60 seconds always felt rushed / too short in audio

i feel like text is different. writing 2 min for audio feels like a 16 for text to me at least. when you spit shit aloud it takes a bit of time if you put emphasis on your words and take pauses instead of rushing through it. not much gets said in 60 second battles. you have to compact your shit way more and get straight to the point it's almost like an 8 liner for the audio section. 45 seconds is more comparable to an 8 honestly.. but 60 is just 15 more seconds lol. and audio is our closest shit to live battling so i think 1:30-2 min should start to be standard on here if we want to appeal more to the live battling side of shit.

as for text i think 32 is too long. maybe the finals is 32?

I feel like that's the best possible way of deciding who is the best of the best. No reason to have the LBT Title match be 32 when the GC, which has higher prestige, be 16.

you get a month to write that 32 whereas you're writing at least 64 within a month for a GC already. quick maffs
