Weather it's a desktop or a laptop, do you think it's worth the money? I been saving up and stuff from my job and I am slowly getting closer to getting enough money to use on a laptop... Is it as good as people really say? I mean, is it worth like the 1200-1800 dollars people pay?

Edit: I meant apple computers in the title* Overall apple computers.

Well for everything.. school, websites I like to visit.. just an everyday laptop.. I hear they rarely get viruses which my crappy Toshiba always gets.

For sure, i've never had anything but Macs, i have the desktop which i use all the time, and also have the laptop. They're SO fast, no freezing, no waiting ages for the damn thing to start up, never had anything even close to a virus, if you're using it for school/college you wouldn't have to worry about it deleting your work, IMO it's worth the money for sure

yup its worth it..just copped myself a macbook pro back in sept. and i used to be a windows user before hand but i love this computer..dont have one complaint about it

worth the money and virus free

takes some time to get use to but its all worth it

and what verity said..its fast on loading websites,starts up quick, even if you where to shut it down all the same windows open right back up for you

They're fantastic computers, but it is a LOT of money to spend if you're only ujsing it for websites etc. Probably better off with HP unless you're gonna be using it for recording, games, movies etc, in which case it's most certainly worth it.
