Real Talk vs.
Phil Banks
This is going to be an extremely close battle. I believe Real Talk's pen game is going to edge this seeing as he's been Live Battling so no offense to Phil but his opponents are pretty top tier imo. On the other hand Phil's lyrical ability in insane and he's proven that time and time again. Like I said this is going to be crazy close and I think by the end I'll be leaning towards Real Talk but it'll be debatable for sure.
THA DUKE vs.
GRizzEAT
I initially thought of THA DUKE sweeping this but honestly I'm leaning towards Grizzy for the win even though he just lost to M-Rock in the audio tournament but Rock's in a different bracket then Grizzy tbh still he had some dope bars and coming from text he's got an extremely polished pen game which for me will allow him to take this battle. I'm sure DUKE isn't going to easy by any means but his absence from the battling scene makes me question if he's still got what it takes to battle these lyrically inclined text centered new cats. We'll see.
SKITT_Blazin vs.
stricc
I've heard both of these guy's battle countless times and I've got stricc pegged for the win on this. His creative approach will just outshine SKITT imo while he'll try to land some punches I don't see this being close at all. Hopefully I'm wrong because I'd love to see a fight but I've got stricc taking this completely.
MacG vs.
M-Rock
Oh man this is going to be a fucking amazing battle, either tied with Real Talk & Phil Banks or past it imo. This is will be a clash of the titans battle if both sides come proper and I'm sure they will. This is my favorite audio battle ever vs. my second favorite battler ever going head to head. I'm leaning towards M-Rock but this could really go either way, I'm not sure where MacG's head is at in terms of penmanship but if he's as sharp as I remember this is going to not be an easy win for M-Rock at all. I've got M-Rock winning this just because he's shown his ability to write a verse and just demolish his opponents with his aggressive and great timing flow. I really hope this isn't one sided, this is my favorite battle of the card.
Willy Grubz vs.
ELOH STACKz
While I think ELOH STACKz is a great battler and he's going to be a FUCKING PROBLEM in the Live Battling arena I have my money on Willy Grubz killing this. This isn't about nostalgia and seeing an old cat battle who I haven't seen in years but this is more of I think someone's punches are just going to creatively overpower the other. I know ELOH isn't going to come easy at all and every single time I see him battling I see how much he's progressing but I've still got my winner for this one. Either way I'll be happy to see these guys battle. This is going to be a great battle as well, I'd say #3 of the whole card.
Saint Chris vs.
Rant
I think my boy Rant is going to damage my homeboy Saint Chris (Cizzle) up just by sheer knowledge that when Rant really wants to and when he actually gives a fuck he can come up with some ingenious punchlines that are so well thought out and creative you can't help but question why everyone thinks of him as an underdog and why he's not in the discussion of who's the best today. I know Cizzle's been working on music lately so I really hope he surprises me and brings that studio penmanship and honestly I'd be happy he wins but for now, I think Rant is taking this.
DJ WENJAY vs.
MrGoodness
This battle seems out of left field to me either way I know DJ WENJAY is going to murder MrGoodness in this battle. I've seen MrGoodness battle thousands of people but I've never heard a battle I completely liked. I just think MrGoodness is more a freestyle battler while everyone else is writing up clever verses and perfecting their punchlines. I commend MrGoodness for his style but I feel like he can't win this battle knowing how WENJAY savagely got a Grand Champion title back in the day. Either way I'm looking forward to hearing this battle.
