You're automatically swaying the person to vote for you even if you get them to "Check It Out" as you guys are saying. He'll serve his ban and maybe next time he won't do dumb shit again.

Again, I fully understand where there's room for fuckery if it's posted in IM's and the difference. But I don't feel like there's nearly as much malicious intent in this specific instance as has been discussed here.
