Welcome to the sign-up thread for the Annual LetsBeef.Com Tag-Team Championship hosted by yours truly STEELO!! We’re going to pull in 16 teams (4 Invitational Team berths, 10 Staff Qualified Teams, 2 Preliminary Qualifiers). Let’s start getting these teams confirmed because the last 2 spots will be chosen via Grand Prix Preliminary match - hence the 20 signup spots for a 16 team tourney.)

Battlers will be vying for the title:
Tag-Team Champion

Tag-Team Championship Winners will receive:
Free Lifetime Exclusive Membership
Four MC Items per Partner
Tournament Gold Award

Runner-Up Finalists will receive:
Three Month Exclusive Membership
Two MC Iterms per Partner
Tournament Silver Award

Third Place Competitors will receive:
A fucking cookie and a small violin
One MC Iterm per Partner
Tournament Bronze Award


Sign-Up Instructions

Reply with Your name and your partner’s name. The designated sender/receiver needs to be in bold letters. If this format is not followed, your request for consideration is Casper the friendly fucking ghost, seriously.

Example:
RhetoriKaL / Askari

My name is bold, so I'd be receiving and sending the verses. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS SORTED OUT or you will be sorry later.


Tournament Structure

-ONE Single Member will send/receive the battles in every round. This is so that we can utilize the tournament bracket system and have a documented event.

-First Rounds Brackets will be posted after closure of the two Preliminary Battles

-Battles need to be open for votes (meaning both teams have posted) by Thursday at 12:00Midnight MST.
If you do not send by the deadline, you’re done. No extensions will be made.

-Brackets will be closed/advanced on the following Mondays at 12:00 Noon MST. Try to get battles out there as soon as possible to get as many possible views as possible.

Monday - Brackets Posted at Noon
Thursday - Battles Due from both teams at midnight
Friday-Monday at Noon - Voting On Open battles
Monday - Brackets Updated at Noon

Rules
1- No Cheating. Biting, SPAMMING, PMing for votes
2 - Blind Drops - No Flipping the content of your opponent's verse
3 - Designated Sender/Receivers can NOT be exchanged, choose wisely

Line/Bar Lengths
Preliminaries - 16 Lines
First/Qualifying Round – 16 Lines

Quarter-Finals – 16 Lines

Semi-Finals – 32 Lines

Finals – 32 Lines

Formatting

-Verse formatting is up to you. Make sure you transition well and pervade them effectively.

DO NOT worry about titling anything since this tournament will be held in the brackets. You only need to lead off with your own team member names as shown in the sample battle:
