The lack of any tangible jobs for millions of workers is a bit more than a 'kicker'.

Main gripe with the Falklands is the Belgrano. I might as well go the whole left-wing hog and suggest that the Falklands aren't really 'ours' anyway, in the same way that India isn't ours. We colonised it once and took it. I think I'm veering towards trolling and I don't want to discredit myself, so I'll stop there.

Nobody cares that she closed the mines. Nobody cares about her initial action. And neither would the minors....BUT......

You only call out her initial action as the reason for demonsing. You don't go into the actual reason so many people despised her for what she did, which is why I beleive you're not as clued up to what she did or how it effectED these people as you try to make out.

And yeah best not go into "it isnt REALLY our island" because she isn't responsible for us claiming it for our own to have the brits there she sort to look after during HER term in office. Thats the kind of hippy thinking we need to steer clear of.
