Anybody would catch shit for a thread like this. If I posted a similar thread mad heads would jump on it to clown me. I would never make a thread like this though.

Let someone else give you your accolades. Generally if someone does something of merit around here, people congratulate them. When the GC winner is crowned no doubt someone who isn't wearing it will make a thread congratulating them, and others will come to do the same.
