No showed GC and hasn't got back to me about the scheme in like a week. It'll probably be a regular battle between Wonder and Nomad now.

Introduction
Welcome to the magazine fuckbums. After the decent success of TRBz 1: Momentum, we've went ridiculously more ambitious this time, added loads more battles to the card, and ultimately run the risk of more no shows. If anyone does no show however, I will remove half of one of their toes. Having a whole toe removed is explainable, but half a toe would just look nasty.

-----------------------------------

Battle Villain Announcement
The 'heavyweight title' for TRBz will be the Battle Villain title. This title was first won in a 2 years long nightmare tournament, which was eventually won by UNKNOWN ARTIST. Just two more people held the title before it was made vacant, and I think this is a cool way to go back to the roots of TRBz, and to bring back some prestige to a defunct title.
A physical title will be created before TRBz 3, where the title will be up for grabs in the main event. The top battler from this event will go up against Lockhart or Rican for the honour of competing for it.

-----------------------------------

TRBz Challengers Announcement
In mid April, a new event called TRBz Challengers will be hosted. This will showcase some of the top up and comers from LB and give them a chance to get their names known early on the site. I'm looking at getting guys from ACs, SAVEMONEY and The Purge involved, but if anyone else wants a shot on the card just drop me a message.

-----------------------------------

TRBz 1 Main Event Predictions Winner
Jack Skellington!
Prediction: 57-43
Result: 60-40
Emcee item is on it's way.

-----------------------------------

TRBz 1: Momentum Reviews
By Dysfunctional

Thug V.S Crysis - A decent spar. The multis were on point, but it felt a little dragged on than it had to be from both. Good opening battle though.
Caked V.S Anand- Both could've come way harder. Disappointed in both.

Subreal V.S Oskar- Oskar disappointed and Sub impressed. Both were even though, it a coin toss.

Row V.S Fidel Z - No Show smh

Agonize V.S Punk - Both came correct a couple quotables like the shadow boxing punch and the closer from Punk. Was nice overall, a refreshing main card battle.
ELOH STACKz Vs Phenomonon - Decent battle but I feel Eloh dominated this one using fresh concepts with smooth delivery, but Phe had the better execution. Nice battle.

Dave V.S WarSand - Nice one here. Both had well executed punches, but I felt that War's multis were WAY off in certain areas, even with accent factored in those are some stretched rhymes. Dave had some played concepts but overall came correct. Nice battle here.

Black Book V.S Lockhart - Disappointing battle to be honest. BB had like one punch that was hard hitting and the rest seemed like jabs to me. Lock had two that landed and the rest felt like jabs to me. Overall I’m disappointed in this one. Both should've came harder.

Man Down V.S Dissizit - No Show SMH!

RULE V.S Rican - This battle was closer on the percentages than I expected, but when you look at who voted for who, it was clear enough that one managed to impress the better people. I personally didn’t feel either was very good here but the battle got a good reception from some less grumpy people than me so it never failed to live up to expectation.

-----------------------------------

TRBz 2: Fallout Previews
Main Event
Lockhart (1-0) Vs Rican (0-1)
16 Lines

A main event spot is a big deal for Lockhart, who’s made a name for himself on LB by being a fish among sharks. Lockhart had no business being the finale of the Grand Championship, whilst at the time qualifying as a ROTY candidate, but yet, he held his own. Now returned to what he considers to be his home crew, Turnbull ACs, Lock is aiming a harpoon at his opponent in this clash, making a statement that the ‘sharks’ are nothing but target practise.
Lockhart took on Black Book at TRBz: Momentum, and looked good in dispatching of his opponent. The step up in competition is evident, and in the main event spot, all the pressure will be on Lockhart to avoid once again being thought of as an over achiever.

Lockhart: It’s going to be pain.

Previous Opponents: Black Book (80-20)

Keeping the biting references at bay is too hard, so sorry for that one Rican, but this ‘shark’ was recently stunned at being dumped from the Grand Championship in just the first round. A former finalist, Rican knows exactly what it’s like to go from unlikely contender to legitimate favourite. When ‘Juan’ took on Illimit, under the guise of JohnnyQ, no one believed he had what it took. 4 years removed, seeing Rican sporting a blue title would be far from ludicrous.
A defeat against RULE at TRBz did little to Rican’s standing in this league, and if anything he showed everything that he can compete with the best and come out with more respect than he went in there with. None the less, you can expect that Rican wants to tie up his record as soon as possible, and this is his chance to do it.

Rican: Papi, Papi, Papi Chulo.

Previous Opponents: RULE (60-40)

This is such an important battle for both guys. A win here legitimises Lockhart as a big name, but a win for Rican proves that he’s a level ahead of challengers, and solidifies his status as much more than just a gatekeeper at the top.
A further incentive for both men is that the winner of this match up will be one of the competitors competing for the Battle Villain Championship, which will be on the line at TRBz 3.

Co-Main Event
MAN DOWN (0-0) Vs GrizzEAT (0-0)
16 Lines

MAN DOWN was one of 4 men to make it to the Semi Finals of the GC, and in his run he managed to take out Grizz and ILLoKWENT, two of the early favourites. A disappointing no show clash with Dissizit at TRBz: Momentum only meant that the two could save their veteran tie for the grandest stage LB has to offer, but unfortunately it was not MD’s night. While the GC was not right for him this time, being the best on TRBz very well might be.

MAN DOWN: Fuck deez bitchez lets get money.

GrizzEAT hasn’t had the GC run that he was hoping for, going out in the 2nd Round to ILLoKWENT. None the less, an impressive first round display over the man main eventing the card means that Grizz enters TRBz with his stock as high as ever. The next Grand Championship tournament will seem like a long time away for Grizz, so a good run in TRBz should be more than enough to keep him occupied.

This match-up comes between two of the websites biggest modern day veterans. MAN DOWN’s success has come more recently, and you have to think that he has never been more popular around the site than he is right this second. Grizz on the other hand has seen some better days, especially as a result of the short GC and his recent brushes with the staff. A win for either man puts their name in the candidacy to compete for the Battle Villain title, but you have to think that the opportunity to knock off a direct rival from the running is a much more attractive prize for each man.

Main Card
Punk (1-0) Vs Dean (0-0)
16 Lines

Punk is coming off of a big win in his last event which earned him Win of the Round. Defeating Agonize and sending him to the bottom of the pile did a lot for Punk, and since then he seems to have been rejuvenated as a battler. Not long ago, Punk was barely considered a notable figure on the site, and over the last half a year he’s become a completely different factor. Going 2-0 in TRBz would only continue the pattern.

Punk: Dean's not fucking with me. I'ma teach the lil nigga how to write & structure a verse properly because a lot of dudes here not doing it right. The voters will be in for a lesson when this battle drop & they will witness me snuff these fool out. That's all for now.

Previous Opponents: Agonize (81-19)

Standing in his way however is Dean. A former Rookie of the Year winner and long-time Murda Musik representative, Dean has been in there with some of the best around the site. Having mix results when it really matters, Dean will have to be looking at fellow ROTY Man Down and taking some inspiration from his rise since winning the title.

Dean: You might as well put yourself in a bodybag, Punk.

--------------------

Jack Skillengton (0-0) Vs ELOH_STACKz (1-0)
16 Lines

Jack Skillengton, or BLNK as we all know him, has been on the scene for a very long time, and is no stranger to taking on big opponents. Like several others, his focus wandered a lot over the years and he has been set back by long periods of inactivity from the battlefield. This format might suit him a bit better, and from speaking to him, I know he wants the win here.

Jack Skillengton: ELOH’s name backwards spells HOLE

ELOH_STACKz went 1-0 last month when he disposed of Phenomonon in impressive fashion. A current contender for the LBT Championship just shows that ELOH has managed to turn himself around from his days of being a low level crew leader. Now looking to prove himself as more than an “up and comer”, he has a chance to go 2-0 in this one.

ELOH_STACKz: I should've cashed this @BLNK check months ago #Murda4Hire #FTOH

Previous Opponents: Phenomonon (67-33)

--------------------

Phenomonon (0-1) Vs Dave (1-0)
16 Lines

Phenomonon has been out of sorts as of late, and to think that he was considered the dark horse of his GC debut to not being mentioned amongst the names, it will have to be effecting him. Phenomonon’s last clash with Dave actually took place simultaneous with that GC, but Phe is looking to prove his former ‘sensei’ that he’s a much different animal than the one from back then.

Previous Opponents: ELOH_STACKz (33-67)

Dave is on his first positive streak for several years on Letsbeef. After defeating WarSand at TRBz 1, Dave was defeated in the first round, for his first time in 7 years, by fellow AC Obey. Despite the loss, the battle was considered the second best battle of the round, and was very well received by everyone who read it.

Dave: I hope you lose.

Previous Opponents: WarSand (73-27)

--------------------

The Nomad (0-0) Vs WonderBred (0-0)
16 Lines

The Nomad first entered the scene on LB by making an impact on the top 10, and earning a spot in Chloroformers (later merging into ACs). Some inactivity seen him dropped from his crew and fade into obscurity. This was before he appeared once again in the Grand Championships. His performance impressed the GC’s coordinator so much, that Nomad soon got an invite to Originals.

Mentioning him again, RULE said himself that one of the rising stars from the ongoing Grand Championship has been WonderBred. Formerly mcjewfro, the topical champion has found his feet in text and has never failed to impress thus far. With his opponent making a name for himself in similar fashion, Wonder will want to push aside any battlers adjacent to him.

--------------------

Pugz (0-0) Vs Student (0-0)
16 Lines

From having my dealings with both of these guys, this is my favourite battle of the card. Pugz and me have an ‘interesting’ history, and the early reports will be Pugz Vs Dave for TRBz 3. Before that however, Letsbeef’s owner will have to take on a former admin in his own right, Student. Pugz stepped onto the battle scene earlier this month, taking on an all-time great in Jason. Student is far from that level, so this is a winnable match up for Pugz.

On paper, Student should be one of the long-time legends of the site. However, in the battle box, the story was always different. Having shared crews with some of the greatest of all time, Student never really reached that level. Despite his battling credentials not holding up to his timeline, his experience edge over Pugz is gigantic, and he believes that he can use this to win the battle.

Under Card
Dysfunctional (0-0) Vs Manhattan (0-0)
16 Lines

Very weird that Dys is the one representing ACs here. Manhattan disappointed everyone by no showing the semi-finals of the GC, which has been his most impressive achievement to date. Dysfunctional has been noticed for some recent improvements, and wants to keep Manhattan’s momentum firmly dead in the water with a win.

Dysfunctional: Man is gonna be tough to overcome cuz of his momentum in the GC and he has bars not gonna lie but i think i have a streak coming that people wont expect.

--------------------

Ascension (0-0) Vs Obey (0-0)
Blind - 16 Lines

After turning down a proposed match up with Rohan at TRBz 1, Ascension looked like he was ‘ducking’. In accepting a battle with the reigning ROTY champion, whom is coming off some of his biggest wins to date on LB, I think he has proved to everyone that ducking was not the case.

Ascension: Looking to impress here. Good place for me to start elevating and i'll make it a decent spar.

Obey: One step closer to heavyweight status.

--------------------

Bleu (0-0) Vs AkRid_ArTz (0-0)
Blind - 16 Lines

Bleu came almost out of nowhere by taking over both the text and audio sides of Letsbeef at the same time. His competition is far from as impressive as AkRid, and the former GFX mod wants to weigh in with his experience and avoid the ring rust in this contest.

Bleu: Ak, you’re going to die a horrible death via text on a screen. BULLYS.

AkRid_ArTz: No brainer.

--------------------

Fidel Z (0-0) Vs Agonize (0-1)
8 Lines

Unfortunately for Fidel, a no show by Row kept his record at 0-0 for now. Agonize can’t say the same, after he was defeated by Punk at TRBz: Momentum. Both are looking for their first W in the win column here.

Fidel Z: Martin Luther King would be proud of me cuz I do this shit for all my niggas Z.

Agonize: In the GC I went EZ, after this one come back for the 3-peat.

Agonize' Previous Opponents: Punk (19-81)

--------------------

PackNFlow (0-0) Vs Crysis (0-1)
8 Lines

This is a clash between two generations of ACs. Crysis came up through the Chloroformers system, twice, while Pack is just starting his time in the crew. Crysis suffered a loss to Rohan at the first event, so a loss here would put him right at the bottom.

Crysis' Previous Opponents: Rohan (28-72)

--------------------

Autographh (0-0) Vs LOGiKK (0-0)
Blind - 16 Lines

Autographh will rush right in for a suplex, but if he does this without thinking, LOGiKK might catch him in a triangle hold. Not even God (Pulse) himself could pick a winner from that scenario.

Autographh: Should be a solid match. LOGIKK is more known for audio so im interested to see what he brings to the table, text wise.

LOGiKK: It doesn't really matter who wins the battle, Auto's a good dude and it's one of those bouts where you'd just enjoy a good match-up instead of trying to prove a point or hold a grudge.

Interview
With Jack Skellington

Dave: How are you this fine morrow's eve Jack?

Jack: Fan fucking tastic, Ethie poo.

Dave: I hope that nickname doesn't stick.
You've been on Letsbeef for a few years, how do you feel you have elevated?

Jack: Compared to the dark days of C Teezy... See what I did there? I've come a long way, I feel. I've even been touted by a few members as having achieved the highly sought after "heavyweight" position. I don't think I've reached that peak yet, though

Dave: With the successes of Krhyme Killz, RULE and some of the other original Classick members, do you feel you have underachieved thus far?

Jack: Underachieved? Not quite. Both of those guys put in a LOT more work than I do on this site, and I would consider them both much more dedicated to the craft than myself. I'm not gunning for every title pushed my way, but, I've garnered some success on the site, and have established myself as a decent "name."

Dave: With the level on the site seeming to have hit a low point, do you feel that you are a strong candidate for the next Grand Championship Tournament?

Jack: Haha. There are a lot of dudes who could easily win that title over myself. Look out for Lockhart, I've been giving him a lot of solid advice, and he's really been receptive to it. Some other honorable mentions are Illokwent, Dissizit, and Manhattan.

Dave: So you don't think that you could take the advice yourself, and perhaps beat them all to it?

Jack: Oh, I have a chance. But, I'm not going to make any predictions regarding the matter. There's a lot of solid competition, and if I happen to enter a future GC, we'll see what happens then.

Dave: What is your thoughts on the controversial "FTOH" campaign? As an old head giving advice to future guys like Lockhart, what's your take on the sentiment?

Jack: I think that it's a cool idea to promote activity, and beef, but, they're going about the notion in the wrong manner. If you're going to create a movement, you need to be committed to that movement, and none of the people I've seen following that trend seem to be.

Dave: If you were to give one piece of advice to an up and comer on the site now, what would it be?

Jack: I guess it depends on the arena they intend to pursue. If it's audio, I'd suggest giving a strong focus to delivery, and tonality. If it's text, i'd tell them to focus on technicality, and complexity, while maintaining an idea of wordplay that works both ways as a double entandre.

Dave: Alright, I think we're pretty good with the boring stuff. Let’s be funny now.
What's the weirdest thing you've found in your belly button?

Jack: I once found a midget in my belly button. He was feeding on crumbs left there from my evening meals.

Dave: lilmidget?

Jack: He did vaguely resemble the character Chucky from Child's Play.

Dave: Is it true that you have one invisible leg?

Jack: Yes, I call it my penis.

Dave: I heard your penis is an inny.

Jack: No, those are called vaginas, Eth. I understand you've never seen one, though.

Dave: Is it true that you once found a midget that resembled Chucky from Child's Play in your vagina?

Jack: Belly buttons are vaginas? Have I been putting my invisible leg in the wrong hole, again?

Dave: Isn't that how babies are born? You cum in the umbilical cord, and then the stork gives you a prize or something?

Jack: I always thought babies were adopted, like me...

Dave: Adopted/cum in umbilical cord...potato/tomato.
Anyways, thanks for the interview you fat piece of slime faeces. Any last words?

Jack: I like to have sex with sea lions on the beach, while drinking mixed drinks out of fruit cups.

Dave: Thank you.
