Just saw a great point of argument, controversial perhaps but...

Bishop Brigante (KOTD staff) tweeted something along the lines of "people complain that rappers 'ain't really bout day life, they'd never really duff someone out in a battle smh' then Math KO's a guy in a battle and he's 'ruined the culture' smh...

He has a point. Basically, so long as you can convince people with "real rap" that you're a gangster or you're tough it's cool, but you can't actually BE tough or swing on someone cause then it'a killing the culture. God forbid someone who claims to be a tough guy or a "real nigga" should actually react to someone disrespecting them.

Conversely, Jones' "save the street shit for the streets" is also on point. From what I'm gathering Jones was trying to switch up time limits, then talking over Hoffa's verses and mocking him sarcastically so he lost his shit.

Serious question; would it have been considered a detriment to the culture if Loe Pesci had swung on Daylyt for rubbing ball sweat on his face mid-battle?

Math is ruined.

Bow Wow was also on the stage for this: I'm pretty certain that UFF won't last past the first season now, given what Math has single-handedly done to Smack's reputation.

When Smack can't pay these top tier guys (which he can't) or they stop working with him (which they will) then where are they gonna go? Straight to Organik. I really liked URL and thought that - as a brand - they were unmatchable, lightyears ahead of the other leagues, but - seeing the way URL treats staff, battlers and business compared to KOTD - it's no surprise to see the Canadians deservedly stake their claim as number 1.

Smack drops a battle in 24 hours: gets 70,000 views.

Organikk drops one in the same amount of time period: has 24,000 views.

Don't get me wrong fam, K.o.t.d is a good league but Url has better material. Either way it goes, if some battlers decides to go to k.o.t.d, smack will set up the battlers that remain giving them a bonus pay check to show the battlers who left what they missed out on. K.o.t.d has battlers of there own so I don't think organikk would want most of them. Something to keep in mind.

@cakedout Verb, Hollow, Ars, Clips, DNA, Swave, ICE, JC, John John, Shine etc already have/have had KOTD battles. It's only a matter of time before Hitman, maybe even Lux etc are battling there too since Smack is so reluctant to pay the "top tier money" and you can guarantee they'll get yhe same/bigger views if Smack folds/doesn't get his shit together soon. At this point it's not so much the brand, it's the names that are pulling the views in, and they know Ganik is willing to pay them, put then up in hotels, fly them out, treat them like royalty for the weekend.

I hope it's not the end for Smack, but I wouldn't be surprised. He needs to dig deep into his pockets to keep URL alive.
