^^^ THis is RACISM ^^^ Country comes from blues dumbass EtH.
@ InCizion You're totally right hispanics, particularly Puerto Ricans and Dominicans had a very large role in the roots of hip hop starting in the South Bronx… yeah I got ya, my bad for the omissions. And yes Jews and others were involved a bit later than that as well.
Yet, about 70% of recorded hip hop record sales are to white male teenagers? Look it up, its been published even in academic articles. I'm not saying it has to do with color, but it certainly has to do with Civil Rights an inequality between classes and races…
so wtf? How does it help to come up and brag about money when some people don't have enough?
I am saying the problem is unconscious rap that believes that race is not part of hip hop, because it is… DIRECTED at EtH-> You think you're hardcore because you listen to gangster rap? Some people live the gimmick that others fake… and from what I can tell, living it isn't easy…. and certainly not worth rapping about unless you're in it for money, so fuck gangster rap… its garbage being sold to garbage.
If you're into reading about this @ InCizion then I also suggest the book , "Cant Stop Won't Stop." by Jeff Chang

It's just a matter of opinion I guess... just like the GOP vs. Liberals... we each have our views for our reasons... RESPECT given though... I don't have to fully agree with you to respect you....
I love and hate everyone equally... I think there are stereotypical views of each race that is TRUE!.... But as long as people realize that this world would be nothing without each race... Each race adds a touch of flavor to our everyday lives it's very importnat here in the United States.. even though it seems the conservative party here are filled with racists in general (but not all).....
Square dance back in the days is basically rap with a white twang within it.....lol...

SUCK IT… @ EtH … if you wanna go back… go all the way back and say Greeks invented it..
Hilary Mackie has detected in the Iliad a consistent differentiation between representations in Greek of Achaean and Trojan speech,[7] where Achaeans repeatedly engage in public, ritualized abuse: "Achaeans are proficient at blame, while Trojans perform praise poetry."[8]
Taunting songs are part of many cultures such as Inuit civilization. Flyting also existed in Arabic poetry in a popular form called naqa'id, as well as the competitive verses of Japanese Haikai.

@ Agonize , @ EtH , You don't think you're being exploited? Then what do you call buying a gangster rap album that makes you feel good, but the artist put it together real quick just to make money off of you bcuz he knows that the gangster image makes young white males feel better about themselves?
Meanwhile, the rapper doesnt even really enjoy half the exploits he's using to exploit you? Many gangsters or thugs are too deep into the game to even be able to get out, and you think they are happy? No they are unhappy as the stupid fucks they sell their music too so that they can feel better.
Yeah CREAM rules everything around you, because the money has come before your own fucking humanity. I enjoy gangster rap sometimes, but at least I see it for the sad excuse for music that it is…. go listen to Wynton Marsalis or Miles Davis or somebody who spent the time composing…
Busta Rhymes even said he didnt like half of rap, because he knows what it is… Nas said HipHop is Dead… Why would they say that unless they understood the exploitation of the game?
What, You didn't think I would stand up for my own opinion? Everybody's got opinions like assholes, and they all stink… mine included. But, if you are all going to be smelling yourselves then I assuredly am going to promote my own stink as well.
