Shawshank redemption was from 4 seasons or some shit. Also had stand by me in it. Can't remember the other 2 stories. The Shawshank redemption movies is one of the rare cases where the movie is at least as good as the book (short story, novella, whatever) if not better. Not to take anything away from the book, but that movie is dope.

I would still rather watch Dumb and Dumber though.

Shawshank isn't the greatest movie ever, it's just a great movie. Frankly I'd rather watch a straight 36 hours of Prison Break. And I thought everyone knew it was based on King? Not his best works either; The Shining and Green Mile both translate just as well if not better on screen, and The Stand (IMO) is his best work.

It's a Wonderful Life was a good shout vitty, although if we're going black and white I'd have to say A Streetcar Named Desire.

Favorite King novel was The Stand, until I read IT. The movie doesn't even touch the book. IT is the fucking shit. Might have to read that joint again.

Erupt you seen the movie Waste Deep? It's a pretty good film. There's also a sick film called "RED" staring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirem (and some dudes who's name I can't remember) about retired and extremely dangerous agents, it's funny and a dope plot and a lot of action, you should give that a watch if you haven't seen it already
