32 is definitely the right number both to get trash battlers out of the tournament and to keep it manageable and reduce dropouts. However I disagree with wildcards.
1) Having people qualify without battling in the seasonals is disrespectful to those who put in the effort.
2) Making it so you can qualify off of your name regardless of where you finish in seasonal rankings completely devalues the idea of having seasonal rankings at all.
3) Wildcards reward complacency. Big cats can be inactive and not participate knowing they can just call wildcard and get in through a backdoor.
I seen like 5 people in this thread say “yeah sign me up” who didn’t do enough to qualify. There’s plenty of tournaments, they can be in those. If this tournament exists as the culmination of a season, which it is supposed to be, then there should be no wildcards. Top 32 battlers, if one drops out give it to number 33, etc etc.
It’s 5 battles in 3 months it’s not hard. If you don’t wanna put the work in you shouldn’t qualify. Let’s be real most cats snipe anyway so it’s not like you’re actually having to try hard, but that’s a different story...

Rai I would like to have a dialogue about this. First round number 1 for the season should battle number 32, number 2 should battle number 31, and so on. Else all you're doing is giving yet another advantage and perk to veteran members, and continuing to say to new cats that they have to play by different rules. I say this as someone who likes big names battling, but I straight up do not agree with this tournament format.
