Yeah, cuz he grew up over here in Brooklyn. And it has filmic credentials too which is right up my alley... A documentary called "On the Ropes" was nominated for an academy award.
its cool cuz this type of experience can help someone as a writer as well... because although you need to be imaginative, they say write what you know. When you write through your own experiences it makes it more authentic and relatable to a select audience.

I'm taking Krav Maga classes..... basically getting my ass kicked.... but its pretty dope. All the killing techniques...none of the fanciness.

I've done boxing, karate and tae-kwon do.... Tried kickboxing and sat in on a judo lesson but niether were for me. Sounds like your set on boxing but if you're still deciding tell us what you're wanting out of a martial art and we can make some suggestions.
