i see where you cmoe from but you cant act like eminem has never had some substance in his shit.... of course he doesnt rap about slavery..... whats he gonna rap about? bein a massa, get slammed for being a racist (which em has songs about), and finally taken off shelves for somethin he said?? sure, he has plenty of songs (especially as of late) that are just super rhyming about nothing, but he's still on his game and making some songs with substance.... and iamflow, em is a great storyteller, but thats nas' essence... i guess in my personal opinion, eminem edges this one for me, but i can see and respect anyone thatll feel otherwise, because nas does hit on an ultra deep level

Someone in the thread said he raps about his life, and that's cool. He can relate to getting his ass beat, doing drugs, living in a trailer home. But that's not ALL he has to talk about....& what does that do for the listener?

& Yeah he's making some songs with substance. 25 To Life is an example...but then there's songs like "On Fire"
