I think the most important place to direct people to is basic battling, not incentive battling.

EtH, I agree that maybe extra points don't need to be given to special events. But, with a broader view, I feel that perhaps more points should be given for longer battles? For example, an LBT title match is 32 lines, and under this system it would earn the same 1 point that you would get sniping a noob with 8 random lines. I don't know if you should go for a direct 4x points just because 32 is 4x 8 (as it's still only 1 battle), but maybe 3 points for any 32 line battle win? 16 can be kept at 1 or bumped to 2?

I feel like one issue here is then you could also start talking about quality. Tyger Woods could come back and drop 40 32 line battles a day but they'd all be done quicker than an 8 line battle by yourself.

How about we do 5 points for an LBT/LBA title win/defence?

So my original plan was to start the tournaments receiving points from the next round. That meant that round 3 of the text GC would have been included and the final of the winter GC audio. I wasn't sure about the latter of those (since it carries 50 points) but by the time I even realized it existed, one crew had picked both members and was guaranteed the points and it'd have been a bit shitty to take it away.

Talking with Lock I just realized that it's sort of weird to include the audio winter tournament and not the text one, which is also due it's final verses, simply because the text one has it's rounds moved forward a bit quicker.

This means in two battles, it'd be possible for one crew to be 100 points clear. At the very least in two battles two crews would be 50 points clear.

What does everyone think? I know it was part of Sore Winners strategy to secure those points so it might be a bit of a dick move to take it away, but at the same time nothing to do with the two winter tournaments had anything to do with the draft.

Thoughts?
