Text vs. Audio

i don't get how there is such a thing as "freestyle text", that is only possible if there was a stop watch and u had like 5 min to write 16--and if that was the case i promise very few of u textee's could even assemble a coherent , relevant verse much less complex multi's and bar structure. I do hate when texters vote on audio free's despite not ever participating in an audio free battle and comment so critically, like "horrible..both sucked"5-5 vote...personally i think it's talent if someone is able to merely rap rhyming bars, that make since for 1-2 min w/o any pre mediation,Especially on an open- atleast in a battle you can go back n forth and build up a lyrical and conceptual data base in your head in the course of 2-3 round battle..but textees that vote in audio free battles can't vote as if the emcee's had unlimited time to sit there and form punches and concepts..and i myself give the dude that dropped the open points off rip ..people forget that only 1 person is batting on these audios...presentation, voice, delivery and style should be valued equally with multi's , concepts, and metaphors. etc in audio free's

Allot of things in audio wouldn't fly in text either. Some people will get excused for weak content by good delivery. They are two different formats.

Most of the stuff I do would be freestyle text I can't spend days or what not working on a text battle. i usually wait until I have a spare 10-15 mins or so to spare and than sit there and rap

I guess it's still not freestyle as it's written

Most of the stuff I do would be freestyle text I can't spend days or what not working on a text battle. i usually wait until I have a spare 10-15 mins or so to spare and than sit there and rap

I guess it's still not freestyle as it's written
