There are less than 400 applicable jobs as a musician in the "Big Leagues" every year. The odds against your success are staggering, increasingly so with the average level of talent you've shown thus far musically. I think to help him, we should all give him what has been coined as a compliment sandwich. We should all say something nice, followed by the enforcing of the reality of his situation, then close with another compliment. I'll begin.
