Path Situation

Path fucked up in the past, and when he was asking to be a part of the FVC, me and him had a talk in which I told him I was aware of some of the things he'd done in the past. To make a long story short, I believe in giving people a second chance when they show willingness to change and rehabilitate. To my knowledge, he hasn't done anything to break the rules since he started his Path account.
I understand you and him had a tussle in the forums where he accused you of cheating. I'd suggest we let this go until a time comes when he does something now that goes against LetsBeef rules.

No, that wasn't the implication although I do find it peculiar that you hadn't brought this up all this time until you and him had that exchange. You guys were arguing and he accused you of cheating, after which you summarily deleted both his comments and yours. Again, I'm not implying anything so don't put words in my mouth. You said what you were arguing about and what he told me are completely different. What do you think he told me? I'm just curious because I don't know how you would know what he told me and when you asked me on chat, I didn't specify.

If I would let personal vendetta affect what i say as a staff member, over ALL the people that troll me and take the piss out of me constantly every day, you really think I'd pick somebody as irrelevant as Path to single out? No.

Clearly you 2 have some friendship going on so I'll leave it, but my point still hasn't been addressed.

It has less to do with some "special friendship" me and him have and more to do with the fact that I didn't want to be used as a tool in the little beef you two keep having.

You want to retro-actively PERMA-BAN Path for having had two banned multi accounts? Not for something he's doing right now?

And you're acting like its a "wonderment" that we "allow people to come back with multis?" Just look at the "User Issues and Help Reports" section and count how many "PERMAB&/Multi-Account Killer" infractions there are. Or go to the ModCp and click "View Banned Users." It's probably the most prevalent reasons why people get banned...they're mostly multies of people that are already banned.
So if banning people who make secondary accounts to evade a ban was your point, that's already being address before you even made this thread. It's being addressed everyday. If you are seeking to apply it to Path to get him perma-banned, it doesn't really apply because none of his multies (as far as I'm aware) are currently banned.

After running through this. I've come to the following conclusion.

Path has messed up in the past. The past occurrences have been dealt with on an individual basis. Path is back and in FVC. Noble has taken the responsibility to monitor his actions and proctor guidance so With that said, we shouldn't question that, and if Path is about what he's standing for, he probably won't even log into the old accounts again.

I addressed the staff chat comments about EtH and Rain. That's a seperate issue all together, and why it's being drug into THIS situation is beyond me.

I personally think that if someone joins FVC, admits their past wrong doings, and takes a vow to move forward, then that's all we can ask for to "re-rehabilitate" them. Any further wrong doing SHOULD result in a permaban.

Get used to being called a corrupt mod, a cheating mod, etc. it comes with the territory. In the eyes of anyone who you'll impose authority upon, you'll be viewed as such if they don't agree with the opinion/idea pervaded.

We were all selected because of our potential to uphold the integrity of the site. That transcends any prior or current association with any individual party.

Trust, I've been burned by Path in the past, but he's really making his own bed by stepping into FVC. He's literally on probation here. He will either rise above or bury himself with his actions. Nough said.

The custom infraction tool is there to help us deal with people who brake the rules on multiple accounts.

Next time he bites or anything of the sort, slap 150 points on him and call it a day.

& dont take it to heart when people make corrupt mod pops, shits something you just have to deal with.
