The concept makes sense, but as it reads it isn't grammatically correct:
(he had to) have planned it, or bit it
(he had to) have planned it, or he bit
(he had to really plan it) or bite it
(he had to really plan it) or he bit
Moral of the story: "or bit" isnt working in past perfect tense. If you said he either planned it or bit the tense is fixed, but it's still stretching pronunciation of "planet or bit"... either way, enough people thought it was enough to win.

Look ... It's the best way to word it keeping it making the most sense in both ways ... It's the first few words of the set up ... Not the main punch .... Getting a little fed up with people putting my lines under the microspcope when they should spend more time focusing on their own.
