The Trayvon Martin case was more about the underlying prejudices in society. The fact that Zimmerman racially profiled him, followed him, on a street he lived. Then confronted him after Police told him not to. Then when Police did show up, Zimmerman wasn't arrested, only questioned, because he was "white" & presumed innocent because the "black" kid had to have been doing something wrong for this "neighborhood watch" guy to shoot him, in cold blood.
If Zimmerman was black, he would not only have been arrested on the spot. But may have very well been shot by the police themselves for having a loaded gun that just killed somebody. The outrage in the black community is that the law works differently when it comes to people of color. They are not given the benefit of the doubt that Zimmerman was, & that's morally wrong. Blacks are always "guilty until proven innocent", while whites are "innocent until proven guilty" @ EtH @fidel_z @ NOBLE

How do you know he racially profiled him instead of profiling him on his clothes?
The white guy in charge of the arresting department was firing after not arresting Zimmerman.
White people are presumed to be innocent? What about ALL the white people in jail?
Also, may I point out the EXTREME stupidity in this matter? If these police offers are racist, why the FUCK would they side with the Peruvian guy who basically looks like any other Mexican. Pretty sure Hispanics are in the same category with blacks in the police racial profiling matters.

Felon, him having a hoody isn't a race thing. I agree he would have profiled him, but I don't believe it'd have been because of "race".
