how does it take MORE strength to follow what you happen to believe?

to me it takes more strength to question the norm and understand your small and miniscule place in the universe...while understanding there is no reward for a life lived well.

I don't think you guys understand it's not about believing just so you can go to heaven should it exist. It's about what's actually out there, what are the facts. Out of curiosity do you guys also send on chain mail because if you don't you might be murdered at midnight?

The sad thing is you will spend your life living by restrictions laid down in a book and then die and there will be no heaven. Realise you don't have a second life, live this one to the full.

fidel and obey need to read about pascals wager. the problem with saying if i do believe in god and there is one i go to heaven and if i believe and there isn't one then nothing happens, is that, for one, there are multiple gods. each that you have to believe in wholeheartedly to make it to heaven, nirvana, etc. in my opinion, if there is a god, and we have a large pool to choose from, it would be better for me to stay a 'free agent' and not put my whole belief in something that has such a small chance of existing. it's kind of a moot point anyways because the chance of there being a omnipotent, omniscient being that created and governs the whole of existence is slightly more likely than katt williams telling a funny joke.

I don't believe in the Hindu stuff, The earth God, Wind God, Water God etc. I believe There is 1 God = Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger just like Jesus is his messenger and Noah, Moses etc.
