Default I miss Tupac.

This might be weird since he's been gone so long...But it's true. His music was amazing, his message, his ability to convey important messages through pure rhythm and poetry... I think he was unmatched at that. Every now and then I YouTube a Tupac song and it reminds me why he was the reason I got into rap in the first place. The things he did on that microphone were beautiful, for the most part.

I just wish society agreed with me; but most of you would rather hear some other shit. & That's fine. But while looking up Tupac's song "Me Against The World" on YouTube, I came across this comment on the song's video:

Blackhawk213v:

"The rap genre has hit writers block. Pac always had a story to tell, a purpose to his songsWayne and Drake are good at rhyming, thats about it. Take any of their songs and its about some shit that has no real meaning in this world. Mainly just trying to tell you how rich and awesome they think they are compared to you, and its hilarious how yall go out and buy it and go to their concerts... all to hear some face tell you how much better they got it compared to you. Bring pac back."

It's so sad, it's so true, and I co-sign that shit whole heartedly. But I won't say I'm not guilty of bumping to Drake or Lil Wayne either. I just prefer Tupac 1,000x over.
