& its not just Michael Jordan...its a lot of people and companies but I figured MJ would catch your attention

Anyway this dude puts out sneakers year after year and every now and then sometimes the releases are so anticipated that people kill each other over them

The crazy shit is that these sneakers cost like $10 to make and retail for $200+

You could argue that it isn't Jordan's fault because all he's doing is putting out a product and its the people's fault for acting like savages over it

But Jordan releases a LIMITED AMOUNT every time. Its a marketing technique.

If you over saturate the market by putting out 10,000,000 pairs of Jordans, the hype will die down. There won't be lines of people camping out because they could still get it the next day.

But if you release 500,000 pairs the hype will never die down and there will always be people camping out.

How many times have people gotten shot/killed over Jordans?
How many times has Jordan came out and said something about it?


Ya'll remember when Stephon Marbury dropped the Starburys? Those sneakers were like $10-$15 and when they asked him what the deal was he said some shit like "At least people aren't killing each other over my sneakers"

I never wanted a pair of Jordans since then. True story. & This goes with any product in high demand where only limited quantities are pushed out. But the Jordan craze seems to get outta hand more than any other craze. I copped a PS4 and the line and just the entire process was smooth as fuck
