Topical: Yes, but it'll never come back. Not enough interest on here. Other sites are better for that in all honesty.
One Bar: Yeah, I think this is a good idea. It could go well into one of the months where we don't have tournaments.
ROTY: It's not like we have enough genuine rookies in any given calendar year to hold this...

Voting yes. More tourneys = more interesting battles and matchups. I’d like to enter a Rookie tournament, but as mentioned I think you’d be hard pressed to find even 8-10 active, qualified battlers who would be eligible to and want to enter that tourney. Orange titles should have some prestige so with how many no shows I think the tourney would have , not worth it. Shit like one bar would be dope af tho.

One-Bar was dope af when people weren't forcing the ever loving piss out of their lines. @ Shodan and I can both vouch that a lot of the former One-Bar Tourneys were utter BAT CAVES because people couldn't write a bar without forcing the wording so badly that it was unreadable. That's nothing at all to do with the tournament, just how bad a lot of people were at writing just one bar while trying to be overly complex.

That's nothing at all to do with the tournament, just how bad a lot of people were at writing just one bar while trying to be overly complex.

Topical; I don't think there's enough activity to bring it back right now given our recent history with tournaments.

2016 was Tag Team, Scheme, Concept and One Bar.
2017 was GC, Scheme and Tag Team.
This year so far we've had the GC, Scheme and Concept.
Like @ HVK pointed out the Tag Team and ROTY are both scheduled for this year:
