Don't get too cocky V .... I gotta say compared to every major tournament since 66 .. I find the build up to this one much more bearable since after 50 years you all realised winning one tournament doesn't mean you'll win every single one from there on out ... Lol ... The lack of expectancy was close enough to humble for me to put money on Yous to win .... Which is a big deal for a Scotsman .... Supporting the Auld Enemy .. n' all that ... Ha ha... But this one win coupled with the return if Rooney is gonna drive you all into overdrive .... I just know it

Carroll is still a useless overrated cunt that doesn't deserve to be in a top tier team, but he took the goal well. Stand out player for me was Scott Parker though, he kept that team ticking over the entire game. John Terry needs to step aside too, he's been shocking for the last 18 months and shows no signs of hitting form again.

In the grand scheme of things I did think this would be england's year, and made that prediction a few weeks ago (painful as that is to say). However, having seen all the matches so far I just cannot see past Germany. England don't even compare. Early days though I guess.

I'm not getting cocky at all lmao, I'm just happy we actually beat Sweeden at one point I thought we were actually gonna lose lmao. I doubt we'll get get very far really. But it's nice to Be patriotic

Haha I agree about John Terry, Gerrard needs to step his game up as well. I made this thread just after half time and IMO Carroll seemed to be the only one making an effort lmao. I have seen Germany play yet but heard they're on top form. If think Spain could rape them though.
