Royce Gracie was able to takedown and submit almost any wrestler he was against, because wrestlers never knew how to deal with him and his technique was just too good at that time. Wrestling elevated quicker due to it being a much easier thing to master. I believe that wrestling has peaked whilst there are still room for complete masters and specialists of submission way beyond the level now. One again, I think history will repeat and those wrestlers wont know how to deal with they new age of submission fighters.
