Lil Peep is literally credited as a rapper.

I'm not gonna click on any of those videos Punk because to see music you like being credited as a "westcoast banger" would make me resent you too much.

Lil Peep was 99% singing his music with a Metal feel to it.. Legit Drake raps more than lil peep. Post or find 1 song of him just flat out rapping or just stick with what Wikipedia claims he is. Chris Brown is also labeled a Rapper but if you ask any person wo listens to anything besides 1 style of hip hop or whatever it is you listen to, "Who is Chris Brown?"

So when I made a post saying "We need a new genre for these guys. Like someone like Lil Peep is being judged on lyricism and compared to guys like NaS, when he doesn't give a fuck about that stuff and doesn't make that type of music"....you say "Lmfao Peep is like NaS nigga yo" ???? lmfao boy.

Peep is next to never being judged on lyricism......... It's the outsiders that dont listen to him assuming most classify him as a rapper when they dont, and most claim hes not lyrical which they dont..

As I said above. Peep was a TERRIBLE example to use in this thread being that no one calls or complain that hes not lyrical.. Plain and simple. I dont know what you're understanding.

95% of his fanbase is rock/metal emo heads..

Using someone like Blueface, Pump, or Uzi would've been perfect examples being that they're 100% classified as "rappers" with bad lyricism.

I know for a whole ass fact that there's at least a few songs where Lil Peep just straight up raps. My favorite song by him "Switch Up" he doesn't rap at all actually.
