there came a time when life was hard to ENDURE/
and I caved in to the lies of it's sinister GRANDEURS/
as i ACHED TO BE ONLY SAVED/
and ESCAPE THROUGH THE UNHOLY CAVES/
as i was a stranger to the geology of these ROCKS/
coz the only ROCK i ever knew were CLASSIC PUNK AND HARD/
unaware of which direction to walk i TROT/
amongst stones which were in MASSIVE CHUNKS AND SHARDS/
in the dark about it's SHAPE OR PATTERN/
not sure if this was even a CAVE OR CAVERN/
adapting to the groove to move till the end of the LINE/
willed myself to march on BRAVE AND PRUDENT/
using philosophies as taverns to rest my MIND/
I began to think of these CAVES AS HUMANS/
they kinda represent our DIVERSITY/
the hollows and the cavities UNIVERSALLY/
all the SANITY & INSANITY/
either way they galleries of HUMANITY/
encapsulating all of our TRUE VANITIES/
all the mass slavery and the enchained FREEDOM/
tainted souls painted gold so you can't SEE THEM/
UN CARED WOMBS almost presumed AIRED TOMBS/
even though we born dead into doomed HEIRLOOMS/
just gotta look for the LIGHT/
in every darkness and follow it without REGRET AND FEARS/
always gotta put up a FIGHT/
and swim out of the hollows through an ocean of SELF SWEAT AND TEARS/
as i made my way out a man GROWING FREE/
took a look about to feel the BLOWING BREEZE/
almost UNKNOWINGLY i sensed a GLOWING FEEL/
the journey did me a FAVOR soaked me in it's AESTHETIC TRUTHS/
raw in NATURE and cloaked in POETIC VIRTUES/
hope was my ATTORNEY THROUGH THE WAY/
such was my JOURNEY THROUGH THE CAVE...
