List 5 things

i am a member of a couple of fb rap battle groups woth thousands of member . i am always posting links to lb and quite a few have joined but cant figure out what the fuck is going on to start off with in regards to how to do a battle and drop votes . as i said ages ago , we need to send a welocme e-mail to each new member , explaining how the site works , how to drop votes and expos correctly ,and how the text / audio battles work . i see lots of folks joining , but few staying . and again , newbies get sniped by more experienced members and get put off by getting easily beaten , i suggested a newbie league / arena ages ago , where newbies can battle each other til they reach a level where they at least stand a chance against more senior members . and maybe have a rap school kinda thing , where they can learn about punches , wordplay , metas , multis etc . if we can keep just a couple of the new joiners every day then the site will be active again in just a few weeks , and the busier it gets , the more people will join . but i have said this before and nowt happened , but i still believe it would work . peace.

The e-mail idea is good, but as far as newer members not sticking around that's on them, if you wanna improve you will...you just have to keep battling and then you start seeing other people and how it all works. I've had plenty of new people hit me up in IM chat and i'm more than happy to help them out with things they might be lacking or just give them honest feedback. They also have unranked arena to start with if they wanna just test the waters, so yeah an email explaining some of these things would be helpful. Some people just pop in for fun and don't really have any intentions of improving (which is fine) but if you're serious about it, the only way to become better is actually trying and battling better ppl is the way to go imo....i was checking my 1st battles like wow i wrote this? but started improving after sticking around and seeing some of the higher ranked guys or actually battling them.
