So if its like the LBT , someone who is NOT in the league can kick out someone who IS in the league by beating them in a battle?
&after the champion is titled, will it be the same members in the league that the champion has to defend the title to? or will another mini text tournament?
Apologies for the bombardment of questions.

It's all good. All 16 spots are filled anyway.
But to answer your question, this is NOT the LBT. It's a different league based on different rules. In the LBT, someone who's not even ranked can challenge someone who is rank, let's say the number 5, and immediately take their spot on the rankings.
In the star League, it won't happen like that. Each person will have a score and newcomers will get a default score. When you challenge someone, you will gain or lose points based on the score rank of your opponent. So you will gain more points by beating the number 3 highest score as opposed to beating the number 8 highest score. And if you're starting from the bottom or just coming into the league, beating the number 5 highest scored person won't necessarily place you automatically at number 5 (but it might)..it'll all depend on how much points you gain from that battle and how much they lose where you will both end up once the battle finish and scores are calculated. Only the top highest scored battlers will be considered "League members" at a time. In the future, there will probably be other league based on this system and I'm hoping the LBT and LBA will follow my lead. This will be a lot more organized and more battles will drop frequently as there will be stipulations as to a minimum amount of battles each League member must send to other League members each month (something I don't think the LBT has). From round one, everyone will start off with the default score of 1200. I will explain more later about how to calculate how many points are gained or lost for beating a particular opponent based on their score.

Sorry..forgot to answer second part of your question. When the champion is defeated...there isn't another tournament like this that will take place.
Instead of the tournament, the battles that will take place will come out of the "minimum 2 battles" that each member must
send to other members each month to remain in the League. The former Champion's ranks will be recalculated based on the score of who defeated him...just like every other battle. So it may happen that the Champion isn't necessarily the highest scored person...but by the end of each month after all the minimum League battles have been completed, only the highest ranked non-champion may challenge the champion for the title.
