i think votes/comments should be straight up invisible untill you vote. to the point no one but mods can see them and after the battles close ALL the votes can be seen. i think this is a good idea becuz:
1. whenever i look at old battles i can never check the votes and see the opinions of certain vet members. like if im view a Real Talk battle and Jason voted on that shit saying "bla bla bla (expo).. it was close but im swinging this to this guy." and he votes... i wanna see who he thought won. pretty sure we've all looked at old vet battles and looked at the comment box thinkin sum like that.
2. i like getting the opinion of mods... but it seems like ALLLLL of them have to avoid writing an expo as not to sway and leave that "no sway. fv" shit. that pisses me off. i understand why they have to do that but encourages countless others to start doing that "no sway" shit all of a sudden, and it holds back the opinion of wise mod voters. people wanting to know why they were voted against or even why they were rated so low are left in the dark.. even though they might REAALY want to know the mods personal opinion on there verse (including myself).
3. it will encourage honest opinions and of course.. the reason you all are gettin lazy and too vague/tactful with your expos.. it will avoid swaying. you can give your complete opinion without swaying.
the only con on this idea i've heard from this is that posting before a battle in the comment boxes builds hype. meh. kind of a weak arguement. i get what they mean but im pretty sure RULE vs. Askari or any other hypothetical battle would get a good amount hype regardless. idk. thoughts....
