IMPORTANT: Due to a great turnout for this event,
Prove Your Worth: Season 3 is debuting a new format. We will have 2 divisions, East and West, with 6 battlers in each. You will face each battler in your division once. Then, the top 2 battlers from each division will advance to the playoffs. #1 in the East plays #2 in the West and #1 in the West plays #2 in the East. Winners go to the finals. Recall, the rest of the rules can be found here:
https://www.letsbeef.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165963, but disregard the bit about the playoff seeding in that thread as the new rules just mentioned will apply.
Without further adieu, here's the division set-up!

Week 1 Schedule - East
Jimmy Hoffa vs Adolf Spitter
<a href=https://www.letsbeef.com/battle_details.php?section=tb&id=512417>Jimmy Hoffa wins 89-11</a>
Jimmy comes in as the 2x defending PYW Champion in search of the 3-peat. He finds himself battling newcomer Adolf Spitter in Week 1, in a battle that will have Jimmy getting back into PYW form. Meanwhile, Adolf will surely be relishing the opportunity to come out of the gate flying and knock off the big name in Week 1.
The Young Prince vs Orochi
(Orochi No-Show)
KG comes into this a seasoned vet of PYW, and hungry for his first title. In Week 1, he's pitted against PYW freshman but LB site vet Orochi. In a battle that will feature quirky punchlines from KG and lots of street talk from Orochi, it's anyone's game.
Suleyksejun Kriid vs Kold Krhymez
(Baron Black (SK) No-Show)
This battle sees 2 new faces join the fray. Both battlers have been carving out their style and reputation over recent months on LB. It's time to see who has the guts to pull out a big win from the start and avoid falling in an 0-1 hole.
Week 1 Schedule - West
g u t s vs CakedOut
<a href=https://www.letsbeef.com/battle_details.php?id=512498§ion=tb>Open for Votes</a>
CakedOut, the profile view god, makes his long awaited PYW debut. He goes up against the ever curious g u t s. With g u t s, you really never know what you're going to get in a battle. Will CakedOut take this with gun bars? Or will whichever g u t s shows up have enough creativity to start his season on a high note?
Sean Griffey vs GOOD GRIEF
<a href=https://www.letsbeef.com/battle_details.php?section=tb&id=512410>Sean Griffey wins 76-24</a>
REZN, a "new" member of LB, looks to build his resume up as he takes on long time vet GOOD GRIEF in Week 1. This battle is going to be a match of well written and worded bars against creative wordplay and punches. This is the "sleeper" pick to be the best battle of the week, in my eyes.
The Wrathchild vs o EaSTeS x
<a href=https://www.letsbeef.com/battle_details.php?section=tb&id=512409>o EaSTeS x wins 87-13</a>
One one hand, Wrathchild catches a lot of flak for his stretched multis and odd choice of content. On the other, well, yeah. His opponent is looking to hop back in the ring after having been no-showed in the LBT and get his hands on a W to kickstart a strong campaign this season.
