Default Should Nicholas be demodded?

Over the course of the past several months, Nicholas has shown several examples of behavior that should disqualify him from modship. I'll be highlighting these actions both to establish a clear line of bias that clearly hinders his ability to adequately moderate the site. And to allow you all to come to your own conclusions.

1.) Plagiarism.

Nicholas has shown a lack of regard for ethics in the plagiarism of oronyms from the web. As plagiarism is regarded as one of the worst acts a creative can commit, should an individual who takes this course of action be handling your battles? His plagiarism alone, in the past, prompted suggestion of suspension. I believe it should result in his removal from modship.

2.) Openly swaying battles in the forums.

Source

As seen in the above link, Nicholas has also shown he has no issue with swaying open battles. You can see that he has since edited the comment. But, the act of making it in the first place, shows that Nick allows his personal feelings(in this case, about how bad a particular bar is) to take precedence over his modship. A person suitable for the position wouldn't have to have it pointed out to them that they shouldn't be swaying open battles. Making the comment in and of itseif is clear signification of a lack of regard for site rules. Especially so from a moderator.

3.) Releasing personal information about site users.

This is probably the most contentious point. But, the releasing of private personal information about site members has been clearly stated to be against the rules. A moderator, going out of their way to claim loopholes, or to dance around this rule shows hat they lack the ethical, and objective mindset required of site staff.

4.) Refusal to follow previously set moderator standards.

The unwarranted removal of members from sanctioned cards on the site, alone, shows a clear personal bias by Nick. This, coupled with the fact that Nick failed to follow set standards for how to handle such situations, by refusing to contact either participant of the battle prior to the decision shows that he allows this personal bias to affect his ability to moderate the site. Not only that. But, it is simply inconsiderate to both battlers.

5.) Placing himself in site competitions that he is running.

As you may know, Nicholas also recently relieved Jimmy Hoffa of the LBT, and LBA. Done so, because Jimmy was both competing in, and running the events. Once Nicholas took control of these events, he subsequently placed himself in both events. It's been established in the past, that moderators running an event probably shouldn't be participating in the said event. As, it creates both the perception of bias, and the opportunity to manipulate the system in their own favor.

6.) Using racial slurs.

Source

Another contentious aspect. While it can be argued that this is tongue in cheek, the use of a racial slur, knowing that racism is against site rules shows a continuing pattern of poor ethical decision making.

Based on the information above, do you think Nicholas should be an LB moderator?
