What Rant did is not the same as what Anarchist did.

Rant was merely trolling and spamming around a bit because he was angry with the site staff. The only biting he did was when he posted some copy-pasted Eminem songs as open battles. It's harmless trolling at best and a routine nuisance at worst. Rant has come back and been a productive member of the staff ever since; not to mention that he has years of doing good things for the site behind him.

Anarchist, on the other hand, does not have the same distinction of being a useful member as Rant. It's also obvious that his biting was not merely "harmless trolling" or a "routine nuisance," but rather "deliberately using underhanded methods to unfairly win battles." He mixed the bitten portions in with what were (presumably) his own bars, and even went so far as to locate and use a nameplay against Esso. That's completely contrary to every philosophy of battling honor, and one of the biggest offences one can commit.
