So? Six seasons of 20+ rebounds is ridiculous

In his 2nd year he went 38 pts and 27 rebounds and he had a 55 rebound game

Nobody gets 55 rebounds in the NBA. & I know I should never say never

But I don't think anybody will ever get 55 rebounds in a game again.

Okay, but Wilt Chamberlains only other competition rebounding wise back then was Bill Russel. Besides that, it wasn't that hard to pull down some boards lol. It's like Dwight Howard hitting Rucker park. That dude's grabbing atleast 123344 boards. It just wasn't that physical and highly skilled/strong league back then. Wilt Chamberlain had today's strength back then. HUGE advantage.

Defense wasn't as good back than as it was in the 80s-Present, A lot of C's were under height for there position. I'm sure if Kobe, Magic or Michael played in Wilt era, They would have reached the 100 pt milestone as well.

Wilt was a freak of nature back then. only reason he got a ton was because the game turned into a farce in the 4th quater. it got to the point where the knicks were more concerned wth wth not going down n the hstory books as the frst team to have a single player score a ton aganst them. they even stopped marking other players surroundng wlt so he couldnt get the ball.. all sorts of crazy fouls and shit foulng anyone but wilt so he couldn't get to the free throw line or to stop his team mates from passing him the ball (same game he set the free throw record too). it wasnt about losing anymore it was about stoppng wlt at any cost. eventually in the last minute he got his ton. and even that was on the third or so attempt on the same possesion. his team mates kept gettng rebounds and passng hm the ball back till he eventually scored lol.

agree on the rebounds though. thats probably the only record that will never be beaten. 55 is absoluely crazy.

You're right in saying that his only comp was Bill Russel... Bill had a winning record against Wilt but Bill is also the most winningest player. He still shitted though. Regardless if the majority of the players were whack white dudes

You guys are bugging if you think Kobes 81 was better than Wilts 100. Ya sure Wilt seemed like a man against boys at the time but to think he had 100 pts in a game WITHOUT A 3 POINT LINE. He HAD to of made 50 shots and lets no forget free throws which he set the record w/ free throws made that game as well. Not to mention Wilt had already broken the previous record of 71 pts in a game that season but scoring 78. Also since were talking about how 55 rebounds in a game will never be broken (Which is true) Same w/ Wilts 50.4 pts per game that season will never be broken. Ya it was in triple OT but Kobe was also playing the raptors haha. Also to say that Wilt had "No competition or was playing with small dudes" is crazy that was an era of Bill Russell, Kareem, Counts, Halbroke, Moore, Thurmond, Bowman and the list goes on of big guys over 6ft11 who could play
