For a while now, I have been considering trying to start a project where all members of LB worth knowing are detailed, to help new people get more familiar with the community. Obviously, I can not do this alone; is anyone else interested in this, and willing to help? I would prefer people who have been around for a while, obviously.

Yeah, in a way. It wouldn't come with any special recognition/award, or any sort of prestige, or a long description honoring the members - just a brief description, and list of any memorable achievements that they have made. Hell, we could even put less-than-respected folks like Bnas or MaCc in, since they *are* well-known members.
