Hip-Hops Comin Baaaaaaaaack!
Hip-Hop is takin turns towards the right direction...When was the last time some dumbass put out a song like Laffy Taffy or Crank Dat that was a smash hit?
Iight, Meek Millz had some stupid shit that was popular in NJ/NY/PA...
Lets look @ the freshman or relatively "new" people
Joell Ortiz
Mickey Factz
Asher Roth
Vado
...the list can keep goin. you know.. Cory Gunz, Wale, J. Cole, etc
but I just heard this dude "Beyond Belief" today...he reminds me of Illimit a lil bit. yea, its a white dude. Better than Asher Roth but not yet Eminem (but Eminem is on a higher level than 99.9% of rappers, so dont expect someone better than Em)
Here's a freestyle he came out w/ Kwame on WorldStar
http://worldstarhiphop.com/videos/vi...sVPKX5z0F121WH
Ok, besides the points I already made..peep it...
Dudes started to come out with NICE mixtapes again. Remember when Drought 3 was the shit & everyone was bumpin it?... Styles P came out with a dope mixtape, Jada did too, but Fabolous' mixtape was off the fuckin charts..so much radio play
Another point I'd like to highlight
Artists dropping albums in the next 2 months:
Eminem
Nas (already dropped)
The Game
Joell Ortiz
Drake
Chamillionaire (this dude is actually pretty nice, dont let his southern background fool you...)
Dame Dash & Jay-Z are working shit out
The Game wouldnt mind working w/ 50cent again
Dipset re-united..

I probz still won't like the majority of the new shit. All of the beats for everyone sound the exact same now. That's one place I give credit to Eminem, his beats are still origional, but The Game's new album, Joel Ortiz, Lil Wayne, Drake etc. all have the same fucking noises in all of their beats. If I hear another fucking beat start with an air horn I'll go mad. Snoop album was full of that shit. NaS album is the best out in the past 5 years minimum imo. Cypress Hill's was a let down if your looking for something to get super high to like the old days, but they kept it really origional. Too Short's was a massive let down. I say it's bad, but it has signs of life.

I disagree.
Albums that came out in 1998:
DMX: Its Dark and Hell is Hot
Camron: Confessions of Fire
Big Punisher: Capital Punishment
Noreaga: N.O.R.E
DMX: Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood
Outkast: Aquemini
Jay-Z: Vol 3: Hard Knock Life
GanggStarr: Moment of Truth
Busta Rhymes: Extinction Level Event
Lauryn Hill: The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
Redman: Docs Da Name
Pete Rock: Soul Survivor
and i'm sure i'm leaving something off...
These are almost all classics.
Albums from this Year
The Clipse: Til the Casket Drop

Possibly....Dre, Em, Meth...
Hip Hop is Dead, man. I hate to say it.

Chamillionaire and he's IMO the best rapper out right now, Z-Ro is pretty much the next Scarface, Lil Flip freestyle better than anybody, SPM is the Mexican 2Pac, and Lil Wayne is a beast fuck what anybody says.

LMFAO, are you kidding me????? You do know that just because somebody doesn't have a NY accent, that doesn't mean they don't have charisma right? Chamillionaire is the most creative artist out right now, I understand you're from NY, but you really need to get off that east coast bias.
