Default Bizzy Bone's Robber Sentenced To 12 Years

Marlo "Bow Wow" Jones was an anti-gang intervention worker in Los Angeles. But, recently Jones was sentences to twelve years in prison after pleading no contest to the burglary of Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Jones wasn't alone in the robbery. He had three codefendants who also received time in prison.

During this burglary, which took place in January, Bizzy Bone was choked and beaten in his Universal Hilton hotel room in California. Aside from this, the emcee's jewelery was also stolen.

At the same time as this robbery, Jones was working for Unity One, an anti-gang organization. In the past, he's worked for a similar organization, one that was started by USC's football coach Pete Carroll. But, the fact that he admitted the robbery was done to aid a street gang just raised more eyebrows and opened the door for criticism of publicly funded programs that employ former gang members to aid the anti-gang and violence movement. Still, some defend these types of programs for the help it often provides.
