i mean the battles were for the most part underwhelming, however, it is a step in the right direction for battle rap, and this event has been the "talk of the community/town" "as the saying would go) even after the diz and math altercation...didnt seen the big t ars battle, and rex and daylyt kinda sucked, mook mushed lux face in, and hollow beat joey, cuz joey aint the type of dude who can battle rap...but motherfuckers its a start, the shit was on PPV, its just gotta stay like that and continue to get bigger, but they had everybody in the right spot for the most part, jack thrilla needs to be host rather than sway, and Eminem gotta be at his own events, wtf that's like Smack havin a URL card and him not hostin it LOL, im done tho, just my thoughts

Lux and Mook absolutely sucked, and Mook spit some of the worst punchlines I've ever heard in my life.

Joe Budden threw a hissy fit about being booed, and was fairly boring out of his third verse, Hollow wasn't much better.


So, to summarize, all 3 battles I seen sucked and in all 3 someone had a tantrum on stage.


They're trying to get these "hood" battlers too much. Who the FUCK cares about gunplay in 2014? Who the FUCK cares about talking someones street cred down? They could have brought someone like Charron out there tonight and he'd have easily beat every single person.....freestyle.

Big T sucked looked like he was about to past out .. T-Rex need bigger clothes and he sounded ass especially when the crowd didn't respond to his punch .. all that walking around was fucking distracting .. WTF was Daylyt on? That the homie but the 3rd tho WHY!!!! Mook and Lux was ass Lux has fallen off since his Cal buzz Mook thought he was killing Lux lmao I lost all respect for Hollow cause he was on that fuck boy shit and Buds was trash w/ the "Dylan Dylan Dylan" complex

Overall waste of my time niggas got paid but they set battle rap back .. imo and it sucks that I put my heart in it and get paid 2K max yet these dudes can do all the shit they did last night and make 30K-200K

I disagree. I think this event is a big step forwards for battle rap.... Live on TV, Big names, Great Venue, Respectable cameos. It had all the elements and I thought Sway was a good host. Performances weren't as good as expected but I think the crowd was stupid to boo Budden, that said Budden took it like a bitch.
