LB Radio Battle Discussion

i'll be doin some work on tha up-comin radio show... i'd like to know how yall feel about somma tha battlers and battles and thats been goin down. if anybody wants to chime in and have their opinion heard.. then hmu with a /user/battle and ur feelings about them/it. depending on tha amount of entries i get... tha more i'll be able to do w/ this. i.e. top battlers, top battles, top bars, maybe a battler spotlight.. etc etc.

if any other ideas are on tha floor holla before it gets to late, but still hmu w/ tha above stated request.

U should prob shoutout @Duh Great Whyte on his recent live battle on Traphouse... Then plug him & @Fiji Osa's upcoming event in Connecticut on Feb. 9th @GRizzEAT

I think you could big up Macc for dropping like 30-40 verses a month. Lol... His activity is second to none & should be mirrored by a lot more LB emcees.

As for top battles? That Obey vs ILLokWENT (32 lines) battle was pretty dope. A lot of quotables...

You may also want to bring up the effect that larger crews & all the crew affiliations have on getting battle votes. A lot of MM/Dojo & AC/Chloro battles get slept on due to the rules. & if they do get votes, it's usually uneducated ones from noobs that need credits

Yeah for real whenever i battle someone from Murda all my battles get slept on. thats like half the active people that actually vote decent, - that and used to be AC's

You can Spotlight the ROTY tourney as a "who to watch out for in the future" list... Point out all the tourneys popping off in January (LBT, ULC, NBA, Tag-Team tourney, Heroes/Villians, Exclusive Text, Topical GC) which is a good look for LB as far as drawing interest to the site & encouraging activity.

Big up some of the ppl running the tourneys too (Denton, Punk, Lock, Enf, Rule, etc)

Macc doesn't really snipe as much as ppl think @Nicholas. He drops opens all day, look at his battle list. He's on the left more than on the right

I don't consider there to be much difference, he knows 90% of those battles he drops are going to be vs noobs. I've got far more respect for someone that drops 5 hot battles a month than someone that drops 30 wack ones. If you want to congratulate someone on their activity then congratulate @Lockhart, over his accounts he's dropped a shit ton of battles and a fair few of them are high-quality.
