Week 2 Schedule


2FUEL vs IIAM

Coming off of a Week 1 victory, 2FUEL is looking to keep his momentum going when he squares off against IIAM. IIAM has shown flashes of his creative punchline ability, but to take out an established vet in 2FUEL he'll have to come with a consistent 8 line drop. I'll go out of the box and say I've got IIAM learning from his battle with Kiwi and actually pulling off the win here.

Prediction: IIAM


Rieper vs The Saaxx Baba

Rieper showed us in Week 1 that he is ready to continue his reign of dominance in PYW with a convincing victory that took home Verse of the Week honours as well. The Saaxx Baba is crafty, though, and will come into this match up knowing he'll be hard pressed to match punches with Rieper so he may just come with a completely unorthodox verse to try and win on entertainment value. I just can't see this ending any other way, however, than Rieper taking the W.

Prediction: Rieper


Trademarked vs Hulk Flowgan

Trademarked subs in for GOOD GRIEF here and looks to hit the ground running as he takes on the Hulkster. TM will need to come with a strong, consistent verse here to match up with the antics of Hulk. Flowgan came out swinging in Week 1 but ultimately fell short against an established vet in 2FUEL. He might be looking to see if he can take advantage of Trademarked coming into this cold and sneak out a W with his vintage leg drop. This one's a toss-up since we just don't really know what we might get from Hulk Flowgan.

Prediction: Trademarked


Kiwi Peewee vs CakedOut

What do you get when you pit the profile view GOD up against an exciting up and comer with clean writing and witty metaphors? I'm not sure, and this battle won't help us figure that out either...

YOU ARE A JOKE is going to be feeling the pressure after getting slaughtered in Week 1. With that L to Rieper now behind him, he can try to focus on his next opponent and secure the much needed first win of the season. For Wolf King, I mean hey, let's just hope that he shows up.
