for the technocentric ideology and social movement in which a technological singularity / super-intelligence that will likely be present within our medium future, and that we should deliberately prepare for any action that we can take leading towards using this singularity to benefit mankind in a peaceful / non-violent, humanitarian way so that in the distant future we can, through this facet of superintellegence become the pinnacle of history within our technological utopia?

Cry, you should have linked to Ray Kurzweil or something like that in your OP... not many people here are going to know what you are talking about. Maybe Friendship is Optimal, that's where I first heard about the concept (sue me, bitches). This isn't rationalwiki, it's a site for rap battling.

To answer your question, I'm really not. I'm considering a job in computer engineering, what with the explosion of technology in to our daily lives. But I haven't really considered what I will do once the *actual* singularity hits. Personally I don't spend much time trying to guess at it, because the nature of such an event is almost by definition far beyond our imagining.
